Whatever C2C is, it does its job well bc I loved playing with this ball. It required no break in time at all and was already the perfect amount of tackiness out of the box. The Rock has nice deep pebbling to give the ball more grip and feel. Pebbling is definitely deeper than the Evo and can be felt when handling the ball.
The Rock Basketball is a great composite ball. It is made from high-quality materials (such as the reinforced double-ply butyl bladder) and is designed to provide superior durability. It has a unique deep pebble channel construction that provides an improved feel and grip which feels like a professional basketball. The ball is available in sizes six through seven, so it can be used by players of all ages.
The Grip on The Rock is excellent and the cover feels super tacky. I would say it feels slightly more leathery, and a tad less grippy than the Wilson Evolution. If you are one of those people that find the Wilson Evolution to have a little too much grip, The Rock might very well be your perfect basketball. The Rock is also widely considered to be one of the more durable indoor balls out there.
What these players first notice about this indoor basketball is the amazing grip that it offers. The grip is so good on The Rock that it placed 1st in the grip test. I was able to palm this basketball for a full 98 seconds. It beat out the second-place finisher by 26 seconds. Basically, The Rock ran away with the crown.
This basketball will resist scuffs, marks, and breakages. There’s no need to break in the ball and can be used straight out of the box. It has a patented unique deep pebble channel design for added softness and handling.

Indoor use only. Can be a little bit difficult to find stock to buy on Amazon these days.
