There is a misconception that bras offer better support than bralettes, but that is not usually the case. One of the biggest differences between bras and bralettes are that bralettes are slipped on over the head while a bra usually has a clasp closure at the back. Many people assume that bralettes are for those who have small breasts and those with bigger breasts are limited to bras. However, there are many bralettes that are designed for those whose breasts are larger than a D-cup. These bralettes have extra support built in, and come with other features such as double lining, adjustable straps and double-layered cups. For those who wear a lot of halter-style tops, you need a bralette with a halter neckline. They offer you medium support and work with your tops for a seamless look.
